Goals to Achieve: Blog for 365 - Blog # 1 - Bullying

Steven Colbert echoes in the living room as I type this. His satire of political issues can sometimes be a good thing after a day of politically incorrect High School. Where the "Politicians" are the bullies and the "Voter Nation" is the oblivious students. Sometimes, I really think the world would go to sleep and automatically fix itself! But, at last, lets quote some Shakespeare.

"All the world's a Stage and the Men and Women are merely Players" - William Shakespeare.

Shakespeare implies that we are also performers of our attitude on the stage, we as humans, simply can be insensitive. Some more than others. Even the hormone engulfed life of the American High Schools. Just recently, one of my friend's had her car keyed by a "foul, loathesome, evil little cockraoch", to quote Hermoine Granger. The person was insensitive. My friend didn't do anything to deserve, shes certainly a very nice person that bad things have happened to. While quoting some more Harry Potter (which I'm a fan of!) "Harry, you're not a Bad Person, you're a good person that bad things have happened to" - Sirius Black.

I am defineitely not a fan of insensitive human behavior. I feel I've completely gotten off track... Bullying is such a strong media topic today, its hard to decide what to do in High School. If you're in Band, you're nerdy and stupid. If you play a High Ranking sport, (such as Football, Basketball, Baseball, etc.) you're apparently the Gods of the Hallway. I'm just tried of Bullying. People, follow the Golden Rule. Treat Others the Way YOU want to be Treated. So, if you're rude to me, then I'll have to rude back, if I get in trouble, I'll just sit and cite the Golden Rule.

I do hope to get a hold of this blog writing at some point... :)

Sincerly,
